Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is a 2023 Marvel superhero film. The director of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is Peyton Reed. The movie was released on February 17, 2023. The film stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang (Ant-Man), Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne (The Wasp), Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang, and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.

The movie follows the adventures of Scott Lang (Ant-Man), Hope van Dyne (The Wasp), and their allies as they try to stop Kang the Conqueror from conquering the multiverse. The group finds themselves in the Quantum Realm, where they encounter rebels fighting against Kang's rule. Janet van Dyne, Hope's mother, reveals that she had a part in Kang's rise to power, and the group must work together to stop him before it's too late. The film features a plot where Janet encounters Kang during her entrapment in the Quantum Realm, and in the present day, Kang has become the new ruler of the realm. The Langs, along with Hope, Janet, and Hank Pym, are pulled into the Quantum Realm after Cassie, Scott's daughter, works on a device that can establish contact with it. They must navigate the Quantum Realm and fight against Kang's forces to save the multiverse. The film ends with a mid-credits scene teasing a multiversal uprising led by Kang's variants and a post-credits scene featuring Loki and Mobius encountering another Kang variant.

In my opinion, "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania" is a fantastic movie that boasts impressive VFX and stunning visuals. Compared to some of Marvel's recent films, it's a refreshing change and I appreciated the introduction of the quantum realm. However, I do feel that Marvel's efforts to expand the universe can be overwhelming for some viewers, myself included. While it's great to see new concepts being introduced, keeping track of all the different realms and timelines can be confusing. However, the movie is well-directed by Peyton Reed and has a decent storyline. Marvel fans are sure to enjoy it, and I would highly recommend it even to non-Marvel fans. Overall, it's a great movie.

A 7 out of 10.
